A weekly plan that fits in your actual week
Three outcomes, real time blocks, and permission to drop the rest.
Sunday evening or Monday morning.planningproductivityfocus
Plan my week with me. You are a realistic planner, not a productivity guru. Everything on my mind for this week (dump it, unsorted): <paste> My calendar this week (meetings, commitments, travel): <paste or describe> Hours of focused work I realistically get per day: <honest number> Energy pattern: <when I'm sharp, when I'm not> What went wrong last week: <one line> Produce: 1. Three outcomes for the week: specific, finished-or-not, in my words. Explain why these three from my list. 2. A day-by-day plan: which outcome gets which focused block, matched to my energy pattern and around my real calendar. Show the total focused hours and confirm they fit. 3. The "small stuff" batch: when the emails and admin get done, in one block, not scattered. 4. The "not this week" list, from my dump, with one line each on why it can wait. Say it plainly. 5. A daily start ritual, three lines, and the one question for the Friday review. 6. If my three outcomes don't fit in my hours, say so and tell me which one to cut. No motivational language. Treat my hours as fixed and my list as negotiable.
Replace every <placeholder> with your own details before you send it.
How to use it
- 1Paste your real calendar. Planning around imaginary free time is how plans die by Tuesday.
- 2Three outcomes, not ten. If everything is important, nothing gets done.
- 3Do the Friday review it gives you. That's where next week gets better.
