Meeting notes into decisions and actions
Paste the messy notes or transcript. Get who does what by when, and what was decided.
Right after any meeting, before you forget who agreed to what.meetingsnotesactions
Turn my meeting notes into a summary people will act on. The notes or transcript (raw is fine): <paste> Who attended: <names and roles> What the meeting was for: <one line> Produce, in this order: 1. Decisions: what was actually decided, one line each, with who decided it. Not discussed, decided. 2. Actions: a table with owner, action, due date. If the notes don't name an owner or a date, write "unassigned" or "no date" instead of guessing, and list those as items to resolve. 3. Open questions: things raised and not resolved. 4. Things we said we would NOT do, so nobody re-opens them. 5. A 3-sentence summary I can paste at the top of the email. 6. The next meeting's agenda, if the notes imply one. Use the words people used. Do not add actions that nobody mentioned. Mark anything you inferred as [inferred].
Replace every <placeholder> with your own details before you send it.
How to use it
- 1Paste the raw notes or transcript, not a cleaned version. The model separates signal from noise.
- 2Send the output to attendees within an hour. Late summaries get ignored.
- 3The 'open questions' section is the most valuable part. Don't delete it to look tidy.
