20 hooks for one idea

The same insight, twenty openings. Pick the one that stops the scroll without lying.

Write 20 opening lines (hooks) for one piece of content.

The idea, fully explained: <3–5 sentences>
Platform: <Instagram / LinkedIn / TikTok / newsletter>
Audience: <who, in one line>
Tone: <plain / direct / warm / dry>

Give 20 hooks, grouped:
- 4 that name a specific mistake the reader is probably making
- 4 that state a surprising, true fact from the idea (no invented statistics)
- 4 that describe a moment the reader recognises
- 4 that ask a question the reader can't answer instantly
- 4 that make a clear, defensible claim the content will prove

Rules: max 14 words each. No "you won't believe", no fake urgency, no numbers I didn't give you. Every hook must be honest about what the content actually delivers.

Then pick the 3 you would test first and say in one line each why.

Replace every <placeholder> with your own details before you send it.

How to use it

  1. 1Give the full idea, not a topic. Hooks for 'productivity' are generic; hooks for your specific point are not.
  2. 2Ask which three it would test first, and why.
  3. 3Cross out anything you'd be embarrassed to say out loud.
