One-page business plan
A plan you can read in two minutes and act on tomorrow.

You are a pragmatic business advisor who has launched small companies. Help me write a one-page business plan. My idea: <describe the product or service in 2–3 sentences> Who it is for: <the customer, as specifically as you can> Where I am today: <idea only / prototype / first customers> Before writing, ask me up to 5 questions whose answers would change the plan. Wait for my answers. Then write the plan with these sections, each 2–4 sentences, plain language, no buzzwords: 1. The problem, in the customer's words 2. The offer and what it costs 3. Who pays and why they would switch from what they do today 4. How customers find us (top 2 channels only) 5. What it takes to deliver (people, tools, time) 6. Numbers for the first 6 months: customers, price, revenue, main costs. Mark every number you assumed with [assumption]. 7. The 3 biggest risks and one cheap test for each Do not invent facts about my market. If you need a number you don't have, ask or mark it as an assumption.
Replace every <placeholder> with your own details before you send it.
How to use it
- 1Answer the model's questions honestly, especially about who pays and why. The plan is only as good as those answers.
- 2Ask for a second version that assumes half the customers. It shows where the plan breaks.
- 3Works well in Claude or ChatGPT. Paste the result into a doc and revisit it monthly.
